An immediate loading means that you will have the replacement teeth on your dental implant within an hour or 24-48 hours of surgery.

Not all the cases are suitable for the immediate loading technique.There are important factors in determining if immediate loading can be achieved :

• Bone quality or bone density

• Amount of bone

• Stability of the implants after their insertion

• The occlusion type or the patient's bite

The immediate loading technique involves the replacement of one, several teeth or a full arch is involved and more than four to six implants are placed in the maxillary or mandibular arch.

After three to six months the implants should have completely fused with the jaw bone. Depending on the treatment plan, new impressions are taken  in order to create a final, stronger set of fixed teeth.
